Industry forecasting
Policy Partners was contracted by PwC to provide assurance of the Department's forecasting of likely contracts to be won by Australian industry over the life of the program.
We also reported on options for improving Defence’s forecasting methodology and reporting, taking into account a range of additional possible uses for such forecasting.
Capability building
We undertook an extensive review of the Department's capability to maximise Australian industry outcomes through leveraging Australia’s participation in the JSF program, including in the following areas:
- forecasting systems
- benefits modelling
- supply chain understanding
- staff capability
